22-25 January , 2006

On January 22nd-25th, 2007 in Jyväskylä, Finland the next training program International Cooperation: Activity Plan for Excellence Centres. This program is organized in the framework of two projects: BSR INTERREG III B COMMIN and Tacis CBC SPF Developing EXcellence-DEX.  Excellence CentresNetwork for Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region.

Following participants represented North-West Region of Russia:

  • government officials of the North-West of Russia responsible for spatial planning, regional economic development and SME support,

  • representatives of infrastructure organizations promoting territorial strategic planning and SME development

One of the major topics of the program was a discussion of further activity plan for excellence centres.

On January 23rd, 2007 following presentations were held:

  • Presentation on Regional Service Centre for Enterprises,             Risto Kiljunen, Manager of Regional Service Centre for Enterprises

  • Presentation of the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce ,             Uljas Valkeinen, Managing Director of the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce

  • Presentation of the Activities of Viherlandia Company,                     Juhani Tahvonen, Managing Director of Viherlandia Company

On January 24th, 2007 in the framework of training program following presenters made reports:

  • International Cooperation and Development of Activity Plan, Kevin Manninen, Lecturer, International Business and Marketing, Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences

  • Workshop: Activity plan for Excellence Centres’, Kevin Manninen, Lecturer, International Business and Marketing, Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences

  • Presentation of Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, Heikki Pusa, School of Business, Jyväskylä University of Applied      Sciences

 On January 25th, 2007 representatives of the Association of Employment Training made presentation on the activities of TEKEVÄ Company.

Training program Spatial Planning and Regional Development – Past, Present and Future.

April 6-8, 2006 in Jyväskylä, Finland the next training program Spatial Planning and Regional Development – Past, Present and Future was held. This program is organized in the framework of two projects: BSR INTERREG III B COMMIN and Tacis CBC SPF Developing EXcellence-DEX.  Excellence Centres Network for Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region. One of the major topics of the program was a discussion of European Regional politics tools and Neighborhood politics for years 2007-2013. Also Enterprise 2006 fair was included in the framework of the training program. The fair offered tools and ideas for developing business and entrepreneurship, during its program exhibitions, seminars and info flashes on actual themes were organized.

Training program National, Regional and Interregional Programmes for Developing Excellence  - Initiatives, Experiences and Good Practices of project  «DEX: excellence centre’s network for sustainable development in the Baltic Sea Region»

 

November 30th – December 2nd  in Jyväskylä, Finland a regular seminar in the framework of training program National, Regional and Interregional Programmes for Developing Excellence  - Initiatives, Experiences and Good Practices of project   «DEX: excellence centre’s network for sustainable development in the Baltic Sea Region».

 

The project was worked out during the umbrella project East-West Forum for sustainable development in the Baltic Sea Region, initiated by Russian national Sub-Committee of BSR INTERREG III B Program, and was selected for the TASIS financing. The leading partner of the project is a regional development company Jykes Ltd (Jyväskylä, Finland). Leontief Centre and Leningrad Oblast Government are the leading partners, municipality of Jyväskylä is the additional partner.
